Depending on the area selected for your charter, you will be fishing from either a Ranger 2180 bay boat or a 16' aluminum custom skiff. I take great pride in keeping my boats in top condition for your safety and comfort.
Ranger 2180 Bay
Ranger has long been known for it's quality, style and function. The 2180 Bay is no exception. With a beam spanning more than 100 inches, this boat provides room to move around and unsurpassed stability.
My Ranger is powered by a 200 Yamaha HPDI which is mounted on a hydraulic jack plate. This allows access to shallow waters not normally run by 22-foot boats.
A Minn Kota Riptide trolling motor provides quite maneuverability when needed.
Electronics include a state of the art Raymarine fish finder, Icom VHF marine radio and Garmin GPS. Visit Ranger's web site.
Alumacraft 16 Custom Skiff
When fishing Guana Lake or when extreme shallow water capability is required, I fish out of my 16-foot aluminum skiff. A Tohatsu 9.9 hp provides ample power to cover the lake.
This boat is equipped with a Motor Guide trolling motor and when it gets really shallow or extra stealth is needed, I man a 19-foot graphite push pole. This boat can accommodate two anglers.
